First, you need to sign up. To do so, you’ll need internet access via a computer, smartphone or tablet.
I select the bike number at the station, enter the unlock code on the bike’s keypad, and remove the chain.
I send the bike number to +33 7 555 36 999, then enter the code sent back on the bike’s control unit.
I hold the NFC device against the control unit at the back of the bike to unlock it. The bike is now unlocked. (A pass can be configured directly on the bike if the device is compatible (bank card – building access pass – transport card).
I use the bike’s chain to secure it to street furniture for a short stop.
I unlock the bike using the unlock code provided in the app or by SMS, or with the configured pass.
I secure the bike at the station using the station chain (or the chain of a bike already docked, using the CADDIE feature).
I wait for confirmation that the ride has ended on the screen.
I attach the onboard chain of a bike already docked at the station to my bike (Caddie® feature).
